U1	7805		5 Volt regulator

In place of U1,C1 a regulated 5V power supply can be used.
The voltage should not exceed 5.5V
Many plug-in USB phone chargers output 5V.

Beat sensor components:

Infrared pendulum sensor:

LED3	TSSP4400 	925 nm infrared LED lamp
PD1	BPW41D		925 nm infrared PIN photodiode

Most IR LED's and photodiodes should work. Choose an emitter and detector
with similar wavelengths. 800nm, 950nm etc.

Use a photodiode with a daylight filter (dark red or black case).

Piezo pickup element:
Senses vibration. Attach sensor to the movement or case.

Telephone handset pickup coil:
Works for any electromagnetically impulsed clock.
ATO, Tiffany neverwind, Quartz etc.
Place sensor close to the impulse coil.

Optional. Only needed if you want to monitor temperature.
